HEAT TRACING IN INDUSTRIAL AREAS
In Heat Tracing heating applications, a special electric heating cable is wrapped around the tank, pipe or instrument, current is passed through it, and electrical energy is converted into heat energy in this cable.
Heat tracing (electric heat tracing) is replacing steam, hot water or hot oil heating systems that have been used in industrial plants for many years.
Temperature control is very easy. In Heat Tracing systems, the temperature element can be measured from one or many points. And temperature control is not as costly as in steam heating systems.
Maintenance cost is zero. In Heat Tracing systems, the system will not malfunction unless the heating cable is damaged from the outside. Self-regulated heating cables do not require temperature control and their lifetime is very long.
Saves energy. The system is not continuously activated. Thanks to temperature control, continuous energy consumption is prevented.
It is the cheapest heating method. The operating cost of Heat Tracing systems is many times cheaper than steam heating.
